A sheath built to outlast the tool it carries. The OP-03 is cut from double-layer crazy horse leather — full-grain cowhide finished with an oil-wax treatment that keeps the raw surface, deepens into a rich patina with use, and stiffens into a shape that won't collapse on your belt or in your pack.

Crazy Horse Leather — Care & What to Expect

• Natural markings: Growth lines, grain variation, surface spots, insect marks, small scars and light scratches are inherent to full-grain cowhide and fall within the normal range.
• No two pieces alike: Every hide has a unique grain, so panel texture cannot be matched identically between two units.
• Surface scratches: The finish marks easily from friction or fingernails; light marks can be rubbed out with a cloth or fingertip.
• Patina and color shift: The leather darkens and gains depth the more you use it — the pull-up effect. Color may also read differently under different lighting.
• Initial color transfer: The hide is dyed through, so some surface dye may transfer in the first weeks, especially with water or sweat. Avoid pairing with light-colored clothing.
• Care: Keep away from prolonged water, direct sun and heat sources — soaking can stiffen and deform the leather. Wipe with a clean dry cloth and store in a ventilated, dry area.
