MT-72

The finish on this tool is top tier. It's not just painted black; the stonewash hides scratches and fingerprints. It feels like a premium tool in hand.

I like the knife; the construction is good, but there are some issues—for instance, when closed, the two parts don't align perfectly and sit a bit unevenly. The steel isn't of very high quality, and the factory edge was poor. However, overall, it is a good knife of acceptable quality, barring those flaws—hence the rating.

It has all the basics of the MT-01 but looks cooler and has a better file. The 440A blade is easy to maintain. A solid addition to my EDC rotation.

I've dropped this on concrete and you can barely tell because of the stonewash finish. It's built to be used. The diamond file is a nice touch for small repairs.

I prefer this over the silver one. The diamond coating on the file is aggressive and works fast. The spring action on the pliers saves my hand strength.

Out of the box, the tool opens smoothly. The black stonewash feels nice—a bit grippier than smooth steel. The saw and knife are sharp enough for daily tasks.

The combination of spring pliers (for removing hooks) and the diamond file (for sharpening hooks) makes this the ultimate fishing multitool. No rust issues so far.

The spring-loaded pliers are helpful, but the diamond file is the reason I got this. It smooths out rough metal edges much better than standard files. Very satisfied.

I own the standard model, but bought the MT-72 for the diamond file. It's perfect for sharpening my fishing hooks on the go. The black stonewash finish looks amazing too.
